Small step for mankind, huge leap for the IT-retarded

After a rather hectic week so far here comes the sum-up;

The weekend was greatly inaugurated by work switching name and part of the rebranding of course includes getting pissed. We did that very successfully Friday. For an educational institute/company I must say people hold their liqour rather well:-)

Not surprisingly I woke up with a hangover Saturday. I have not managed to sleep properly here and it is terribly annoing having to be awake through the devastating pain and self pity that comes to visit after a night out. More surprising, and definitely more pleasant, was an unannounced weekend visit from France:-) As we do not name names here we can call her E. Drinks and dinners with E and Mr Bogos plus very limited London sightseeing outside of my flat made a great weekend!

For those who do not believe in miracles, take this; I now have a Blackberry. From an Ericsson T610 of 2001 to a Blackberry of 2009. Small step for mankind, huge leap for the IT-retarded.

Long hours at the office this week in order to be free to go to Gothenburg Friday! Wedding bells are ringing for an old friend and the booze crew from the shady past at Uni are of course flying in from all over the world!

Finishing up on my travel plan for this spring you should, among events, be getting reports from karaoke places in Hong Kong as well as beerhalls in Germany, accompanied by random brutal drinking stories from Paris and London :-)

All the best folks, now I will fly off on my spaceship Blackberry to the closest bar that serve burgers and a bloody PINT!

Cheers,

P
